Man, 20, Shot In Leg In Edgewood

The incident happened after 1 p.m. Saturday along Pulaski Highway.

A 20-year-old man was transported to Upper Chesapeake after being shot in the leg Saturday in Edgewood.

Emergency crews responded around 1:30 p.m. to the shopping plaza in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway for a report of a man shot at the Save-a-Lot, Harford County Fire & EMS Association spokesman Rich Gardiner told .

spokesperson Monica Worrell said police are actively investigating the shooting, which she said does not appear to be a random act of violence.

Worrell said the man was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company was first to respond, Gardiner said. The Harford County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation.
