UPDATE: I-95 Aberdeen Ramp Reopened After Fatal Crash

One person was killed when an SUV struck a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder of northbound I-95 near the Aberdeen exit ramp.

The exit ramp to Aberdeen from I-95 was reopened at about 10:30 a.m. after being closed following a fatal crash Saturday morning.

Maryland State Police and Harford County Fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene after the crash occurred at about 7:50 a.m., according to a state police spokesman.

A Ford Expedition drove onto the shoulder of the highway near the exit ramp and struck the back of a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the spokesman.
