Funeral services and a memorial fund have been set following the death of police officer Charles Armetta Saturday morning.
Armetta early Saturday in Baltimore.
A viewing is set for 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at at 9705 Bel Air Rd. in Perry Hall.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen Church at 8030 Bradshw Rd. in Bradshaw.
Interment will be held following the funeral service at Bel Air Memorial Gardens at 809 Rock Spring Rd. in Bel Air.
A reception will be held following internment at the Aberdeen Fire Department at 21 North Rogers St.
The Harford County Municipal Fraternal Order of Police established a memorial fund for Armetta's family. He is survived by his wife, Heather, and 1-year-old daughter, Adrianna, as well as his parents, three brothers and a sister, FOP Lodge No. 128 President Jason Neidig said in an email.

Charles and my family have always been so close. It's been a few years since I've seen him. But Charles is just one of those friends that touch your heart and you never forget.
