Aberdeen City Council meets Monday night at City Hall.

Business starts with the presentation of the station area master plan at 4 p.m., and culminates with a jam-packed meeting agenda set to start at 7 p.m.

All events will be held in council chambers at .

The Appearance & Preservation Committee will present its Most Beautiful Yard Awards to Barry D. Bennett of 310 Graceford Drive, and Hilde Campbell of 523 Ohio Court.

Council will hold a public hearing on charter resolution No. 12-CR-01 pertaining to 830 Gilbert Road, LLC.

Following public comment, council will consider three legislative items for adoption, including:

  • Resolution No. 12-R-08 » Harford Family House Project
  • Resolution No. 12-R-09 » Inner County Outreach Project
  • Ordinance No. 12-O-06 » Unsafe Buildings

Council will also introduce Ordinance No. 12-O-10, Chapter 210, pertaining to building construction standards. Council is introducing an amendment to the code.

Under business from the planning & community development department, council will consider the following plans:

  • Preliminary Site Plan for Aldi
  • Preliminary Site Plan for Fieldside Village
  • First Revision of Final Plat One for Fieldside Village

City Council will hold a work session at 4 p.m. on Aug. 20, followed by a council meeting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27.
