Florida Institute of Technology in Aberdeen Welcomes Prospective Students

The graduate-level program based at Aberdeen Proving Ground is holding an open house.

Do you want to go back to school? Can't wait another minute to get started?

Check out an event on April 10 at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The Florida Institute of Technology, which offers graduate degree programs in Aberdeen, is conducting an "Extended Studies Instant Decision Day" on April 10.

"Those who attend will receive an instant enrollment decision, meet faculty and staff over refreshments and have the application fee waived," according to a statement from the Florida Institute of Technology.

The Florida-based university provides several master's-level offerings at its Aberdeen location: business administration, operations research, engineering management, systems management, project management, acquisition and contract management, human resource management and management.

Course offerings are specifically of interest to Department of Defense and civilian military personnel, according to Florida Institute of Technology. Classes meet from 5 to 8 p.m. one time per week.

According to program director William B. Morgan, Ph.D., the courses provide knowledge "demanded by private, corporate and government agencies."

Extended Studies Instant Decision Day will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 10, at 4305 Susquehanna Avenue, Suite 213A, at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The location is near Boothby Hill Boulevard and Susquehanna Boulevard.

Application fees will be waived that day, so officials encourage prospective students to bring unofficial copies of their academic transcripts. Register using the Florida Institute of Technology's event registration form or call 410-272-747.
