Craig to Deliver Final State of the County Address

Harford County Executive David Craig will reflect on 2013.

Harford County Executive David Craig will deliver the final "State of the County" address of his term on Tuesday.

The county executive delivers this annual address on the first Tuesday of February. This is the ninth "State of the County" from Craig, who took office in 2005.

Last year's address focused on Harford being "sound and stable" in 2012, with accomplishments including the first pay raise for county employees in four years and the opening of the Southern Precinct sheriff's office. The full address is available online.

The county executive is limited to two consecutive terms in Harford County, and Craig is running for governor of Maryland for his next office.

The "State of the County" address will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Harford County Council Chambers, 212 South Bond St., Bel Air.
