How to Dispose of Your Christmas Tree in Aberdeen

Aberdeen's regular trash collection schedule includes yard waste removal.

Aberdeen residents receive one perk after the holidays: trash pick-up includes your Christmas tree.

City residents can dispose of their trees at the curb on Fridays this month.

Residents in Zones 1 and 2 (who have trash picked up on Monday and Tuesday) can put yard waste at the road on the first and third Fridays of each month. They can leave their tree at the road before 6 a.m. on Jan. 18.

Residents in Zones 3 and 4 (who have trash picked up on Wednesday and Thursday) can put yard waste at the road on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Those residents may leave their trees at the curb before 6 a.m. on Jan. 25.

Don't want to wait? Bring your tree to the back of the parking lot at the Moose Lodge on Rogers Street, and city staff will pick up your tree for chipping.
