This is great! Community transportation is one of the ways to cut down on fuel consumption and air pollution. The trick now is how to convince people that it's 'cool' to take the bus. On Annamarie Island on the west coast of florida they have a similar set-up that runs the length of the island. The locals and the tourists use the bus all the time because it's 'cool'. You almost never see a 'local' driving their car when they can take the bus. The people are friendly and welcoming... the island bus is the center of local information (the P.C. term for gossip) and the drivers know all the cool spots to visit.
The BUS..... it's not for just poor people anymore :-) Now, if we can just get the Hatem Bridge to handle bicycles conveniently......

The buses pictured have bike racks. We'll probably pick up the slack with our bridge-crossing service for weekend long-distance cyclists but weekday buses with racks will be a great start. It only takes about 45-seconds to load or unload a bike. -Walt

This will certainly help Veterans get to and from Perry Point VA. We've been waiting for this a long time. Thanks to those that made it possible.

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.

Worst April Fools joke: the Maryland Legislature, our beloved leader M. O'Malley, and the poorRead More suffering citizens who are unfortunate to live the Peoples Republic of Maryland. It just keeps getting better and better. When will the idiots who keep voting in the same big spending, big taxing Democrats over and over again, ever learn?
