Frank, In the real world people learn and grow and change their minds every day. When new info and better ideas come alone we all change our minds. We are all human . I would be suspect to any man or woman who was unable to learn, grow and change his thinking. God bless Romney with his open mind and willingness to improve . The man know that only God knows it all !

I don't think it is going to hurt Obama. It is the spin doctors that will! Check who is really affecting the elections... Big business! Romney and McCain are just puppets. They used to make sense until the powers that be who said do you want to be president play our game.
I don't want government on business but we have allowed it ever since the computer age and it gets worse all the time! Just found the govt requires that all retirement accounts market value is sent to the IRS. So if they are prying then at least you know about! I don't see anyone complaining about how many of our rights were taken away during Bush's leadership and he was elected a second time! Face it the President sets the tone and the Congress decides on it's fate. As far as the Supreme Court, I say term limits for them to! It should not be based on their health(by the way they decide whether they are heathly enough) or their Death! Watch the movie "Hot Coffee" , you will get a new perspective on who will get into office and campaign reform!

It is all part of the total package ! Tear it down bit by bit and this nation is ruined. Each time you look the other way and say lets move on you lose a chunk of that package that is America. There seems to be a popular misconception that Emergency Room care for people with no insurance is passed on to taxpayers. I have heard several people say this.
It is false. The hospitals eat this cost and pass it along to their paying customers (the insurance companies) who mark it up and pass it along to their customers.

I sure hope they do. It's about time Obama does something right for this country. He gave us change alright a lot of lost their homes, and he has divided this country like never before, united we stand, divided we FALL! . So I do hope the tea party keeps doing a good job.

Why do those who are opposed to government intervention want to give their money to someone who will take more of it for his/her own profit (a private entity) and do with it whatever he/she likes, rather than to someone they elect and trust to regulate the private market through organizations like the FDA and who will redistribute the money where it is most needed?

Gregg, I say this in a non attacking manner. You are clueless and very dangerous because you can vote. Please look at everything the government has a hand in and tell me why you would want them involved in healthcare. Public Schools are a joke, they push people through that can't read and write, the graduation rate is something like 69%. It cost something like $12,000 a year per student. Teachers are untouchable regardless of how inept they are. Look at the DMV, Medicare is going broke, SS is going broke. People from all over the world flock to this country for medical care because it's the best in the world. Not everyone here has medical "Coverage" but everyone here gets medical "Treatment" even illegal's - it's already a law. So please before you get involved in casting a decision that will affect me, educate yourself enough to know what you are actually talking about.

Tom, Medicaid pays for much of that "free" care (at reduced rates). Medicaid is implemented by the states and federal government and their source of revenue is taxes and fees. That's us.

Dan, if it is a federal tax is not deductible on either your state or federal tax return.
As a matter of law and public policy, penalties and fines are not deductible as well. Finally, all income is taxable unless the government specifically allows exclusion or specifically allows a deduction. Bottom line, death and taxes .................

Sorry Gregg Roberts Sick and Deadbeats are paid for by Medicaid. This will fine the Middle Class/ small business person who has already PAID FOR THE POOR IN THEIR TAXES. Now that they don't have the money left for pay their own families insurance, they will be fined. This is what JUDGE ROBERTS did with his sophomoric and empirical opinion.

If Obamacare is so good for the people of this country, why in the hell were congress and the labor unions granted a waiver or exempt. I purposely didn't capitalize the two flukes since I have no respect for either of them.

Only those who don't have health care & can afford it will be penalized. You are already carrying those who can not afford it but you are also carrying those who can afford it, but choose not to get it because it is so expensive. You should be careful what you ask for.
