Aberdeen and Frederick meet at 9 p.m. Thursday at UMBC's RAC Arena—a rematch of in the state title game.

Aberdeen (24-1) has won its three playoff games by an average of 25 points, with nobody coming closer than 18 points.

Frederick opened with a 68-21 blowout over Rockville before a 69-47 win against Urbana. In the Class 3A West final, the Cadets defeated No. 1 seed Damascus, 60-59.

Aberdeen didn't lose until the final week of the regular season, claiming an Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference title in the process.

With a win Thursday, Aberdeen would face the winner of River Hill (21-4) and Westlake (18-7)—who meet in Thursday's 7 p.m. semifinal at UMBC.
