Harford Schools Start Late on Friday
Morning prekindergarten and preschool programs were canceled.
Schools in Harford County were opening two hours later than usual on Jan. 10, the school system announced Friday morning.
Morning prekindergarten and preschool services were canceled, according to the announcement from Harford County Public Schools.
The National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory, effective in Harford and Baltimore counties until 11 a.m. Friday, meaning that travel conditions may be hazardous. Temperatures were below freezing and would rise to above freezing midday on Friday, the weather service reported.
