Homecoming Parade at Aberdeen Festival Park

Aberdeen High School brought their homecoming festivities to Aberdeen Festival Park on Saturday.

 students Brian Adkins and Laurise McMillian were named this year's homecoming king and queen at  Saturday morning.

Students, teachers and family members gathered inside the park to continue celebrating Aberdeen's homecoming after on Thursday.

Mayor Michael Bennett, waving from a red sports car, led a parade of cheerleaders, marching band members, student athletes, cub scouts and members of other extracurricular organizations inside the park. The hip-hop and Latino dance teams performed on stage before the homecoming court was presented.
