IronBirds Shatter Records In 21-7 Win

The IronBirds set five team records in Tuesday night's win at Ripken Stadium.

The put on a show before the show, setting five franchise records in a 21-7 win against the Staten Island Yankees. Aberdeen (6-10) put an exclamation point on the victory with an 11-run eighth inning. Staten Island (5-11) scored four times in the ninth.

Records were set for runs (21), hits (20) and combined runs (28) in a single game. The 11-run eighth was a franchise record for runs in an inning.

To top it off, a record crowd of 6,904 was on hand to see the outburst.
