Set to be limited to three-inning starts while with the , the Orioles first-round pick retired all nine batters he faced in his debut Monday in State College, PA.

Gausman struck out two in his three innings of work, setting the tone for a 4-1 IronBirds win.
"I felt good," Gausman told MLB.com. "It was kinda good to get the first one out of the way because I haven't been in a game in almost two months since pitching at [Louisiana State University]."
