Critic at Stadium Journey Rates Ripken Stadium

One critic for a website that rates sports stadiums around the world said he was "blown away" when visiting

Geoff Crawley, a mid-Atlantic correspondent for Stadium Journey, rated Ripken Stadium on a five-star scale.

The score: 3.9 out of 5.

Stadium Journey comes up with the rating based on scores in sub-categories. Crowley wrote in the review that he likes the food and beverage selection, atmosphere, fans, accessibility and return on investment.

"The stadium was PACKED. Normally, at minor league baseball, the team has to use activities and whatnot to get the crowd involved. Not here. They were into it here. They had rally towels, for crying out loud," Crawley wrote in his review.

In Crawley's review, he gave the neighborhood surrounding Ripken Stadium a lowly 1 out of 5 score, which brought down Ripken Stadium's overall score.

For baseball fans who want to enjoy a game and get a bite to eat, "you won't be disappointed," Crawley wrote as his final thoughts.
