VIDEO: O's Fans Say 'We Knew We Would Be Here'

Two Orioles season ticket holders tell the tale of a 15-year wait.

Debbie Dwyer and Rosie Cassidy have been patiently waiting.

When the Rockville residents purchased an Orioles season-ticket plan 15 years ago, they were making an investment in the future.

They knew someday it would pay off. Little did they know it would be 15 years. And little did they know in spring training that it would be this year.

Patch caught up with Dwyer and Cassidy in their sweet seats before Game 2 of the American League Division Series. They normally sit on the first base side, so they were adjusting to their new digs, but you can see in the video how thrilled they were to be at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to experience the club's first playoff series since 1997.

The Orioles and Yankees met in Game 3 Wednesday night.

TELL US: Did you attend either of the first two games of the ALDS? Are you headed to New York? Leave a comment.

I told two of my employees that I had to lay them off yesterday. We all had a good laugh until IRead More told them it was not a joke. I did tell them that it was because of something some evil Republican congressman had done, and that seemed to make them feel a lot better.

Worst April Fools joke: the Maryland Legislature, our beloved leader M. O'Malley, and the poorRead More suffering citizens who are unfortunate to live the Peoples Republic of Maryland. It just keeps getting better and better. When will the idiots who keep voting in the same big spending, big taxing Democrats over and over again, ever learn?
