Aberdeen Police Hosting Holiday Food, Toy Drive

Bring extra toys and food to the Aberdeen Police station.

The Aberdeen Police Department is asking citizens to donate food and toys to help families in need this holiday season.

The police department will be hosting the Holiday Food and Toy Drive through Dec. 23. Donations can be dropped off at the , located at 60 N. Parke Street.

"You have the ability to help us make this holiday season a little better for those less fortunate in Aberdeen," was the message of a police press release.

Police officers are looking to collect canned foods such as meats, fruits and vegetables and boxed goods like pasta, rice and cereal. Toys of any size can be donated.
