I have been going to Grumpy's for years and have never ever received bad service. Plus the implication that Grumpy's staff is prejudice is ridiculous. You won't meet a finer person than Vicki the owner. I have enjoyed many a beer, lunch & dinner along side people of all races and social economic backgrounds and everyone has been treated equally. If Grumpy's was as bad as two of the reviews indicate, they certainly wouldn't have remained in business for all these years. THINK ABOUT IT! Sounds more to me like bad customers!

I am shocked by the bad reviews! I have frequented this restaurant for well over 10 years. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the servers are friendly. Yes, it may take a bit longer to get your lunch orders when you have a large group, but that's the case with any small family owned place.
As a previous bartender and restaurant manager for a different establishment, I highly recommend Grumpy's to anyone who wants to have a good time and excellent food.
That is truly a horrible condition to place patrons in. To think that this day and age prejudice is still alive and kicking like "showgirls on Las Vegas stage". Maybe an adequate boycott of this establishment will teach most that it is not an acceptable practice to treat any race in this despicable manner. It is morally apprehensible and I will definite pass the word that this is not the establishment to frequent!!!!
Terrible customer service! Our group from work went there for lunch. The waitress was rude, extremely rude and she embarrassed one of our group by cutting her off twice when she tried to tell her that she needed to place her order to go as it had taken so long to place her order. We decided to leave and got up, the waitress ask what was going on. I told her that we were leaving due to her very rude and unpleasant manner. She said "fine". Another member of the group asked for the manager and was told that there was no manager on-site. We went to the bar area to speak with another staff member and found no staff at the bar. Another staff member finally came out after 4-5 minutes. We explained the situation, were half heartedly offered to be helped by her. Most of our group had already left the building. We left very upset and I personally wondered if our party had contain more Caucasians if we would have been treated with more respect and courtesy. Extremely disappointing experience!
