The bargaineer has hit a new low. Chesapeake Publishing, a hometown company was run into the ground by the new owner, Americanconsolidated media. They have no ties to the community and have destroyed a great tool that everyone used to want. Too bad the old owner left.

These papers are a waste of time. It's just a matter of time before someone (ANYONE) takes over as the main paper in Cecil County. I used to love looking through the Bargaineer as a kid and later as an adult too. They've totally ruined these publications, I would rather throw my money down the toilet than give it to them for advertising.
I agree! Years ago the Bargaineer was the paper that everyone went to for classifieds. Now after C.Media took over it's a wrag paper as well as The Cecil Whig. They don't care about anything except making money and theyre running the papers to the ground. I would give it NO starts but this site makes you give it at least one..
The Bargaineer Sucks and so does Chesapeake Publishing and American Concolidated Media...Oh wait, The Whig sucks even more. The rates are too high and they lie about distribution. Idiots from Dallas need to go back to Texas!!

I really cant say to much about the bargaineer but the ads for apts in the local area, with times they way they are and people on fixed incomes, it just behoves me how these people who advertise in the paper for apartments and you call and get no repsonse, It makes you wonder why do YOU Advertise then, its called COMMUNICATION, if you want people to rent to you then anwser the call and return calls , I moved to the area several months ago , and trying to find a apartment, then when you get there,to look at it, I wouldnt let my dog if I had live there, what are you thinking people. ? I mean cmon people get it together, and start working with people, start answering phone calls, and returning calls, stop (i dont want to the word--- discrimnation... yes, you rent to who want and forget about those who really need a place and are willing to pay.....so bargaineer choose your vendors carefully....
