U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center
The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center supports the Developmental Test Command, which is the Army's self-proclaimed premier organization for developmental testing of weapons and equipment. The ATC serves the Department of Defense, federal, state and local governments, private industry and foreign governments that America considers our allies. Among the technologies tested are soldier systems and support equipment, military environmental technologies, maritime systems, fire power, non-lethal weapons and un-manned ground vehicles.
Visitors who do not have a Department of Defense Identification Card must access the base through the Route 715 (Maryland) Gate. Valid photo ID for all adults and vehicle registration is required before being granted entry.
