Why has god forsaken such an adherent follower, such as this faith-driven organization?

Harold - you might be thinking of Hobby Lobby. Unfortunately I shopped at the Michael's in FrederickRead More during that time period. Again...

These situations will most likely continue to get worse...technology works in both directions, andRead More considering the fast pace of it's development real security can't possibly be achieved. If you live off of cards your finances will never again be secure.

Cee Cee, it's obvious you've never been in the trenches of owning a business. What I find soRead More comical is that you're giving me business advice! LOL!!!
CeeCee April 21, 2014 at 03:00 pm
Gary Elwards & Life: Again with the assumptions. I am very aware of of the various associatedRead More costs of doing business. And if someone does his/her due diligence (business plan, legal/financial consultations, market research & forecasting, competition review, etc.) initially, all of that mentioned should have been factored into the product/service price point and is the business responsibility and obligation to American society. So I am asking--as many employees are told to suck it up and accept positions with only the benefits afforded by federal/state law) by people with similar attitudes such as yours--IF OWNING/RUNNING A BUSINESS IS MAKING YOU SO MISERABLE, WHY ARE YOU DOING IT? If one is NOT running a business for altruistic purposes, and isn't getting any personal satisfaction and reasonable financial sustenance from doing so, he/she needs to stop whining and get a job.

Cee, Cee, Listen, the reason a self-employed person gets taxed in the first place is because he/sheRead More made money! Get that through your head! If my business failed, I wouldn't be paying any taxes. Instead, in 2012 and 2013, my business exploded and my company made tons of money. It's so obvious that your ignorant on the matter because you're telling me I don't know how to run a business and you're giving me advice on how to be successful. I have proven to myself first and foremost that I can start and sustain a profitable company because I'm good at what I do, I know my competition, I know my target area, I know how to market myself, etc. etc..But if you knew anything about TAXES and business, you would know that the more you make, the more the government wants. And the more the government takes, the less money I have to hire new employees or give raises to my existing employees. Believe me, my employees worked very, very hard and they deserve a raise. But the government took it from my company. If only you knew how many business owners DON'T pay themselves or DON'T give themselves a raise because of this anti-free market mentality of Obama ass kissers like yourself! It's tragic that you think you're smart when you're just so plain stupid!

When taxes are imposed on various industries then to stay in business the prices increase on theRead More consumer! Obamacare , gas taxes, payroll taxes, tolls, the proposed soda and candy tax , your tobacco tax is 75% of what the product really costs! Commercial Property tax increases! Do you people see what's going on here? This country is being destroyed by the Democrats! It is starting to resemble The a Soviet Union! We should change the name of this country to the USSA!

Mark, Your words are absolutely disgusting. Please do not use this comment thread as a vehicle toRead More spew your racist mentality. And for your information, food-borne illnesses come from agriculture, period. All around the world, including in the U.S. Lastly, your hatred for people of colour does not mean that you understand disease, at all. Good luck in life.

Hearing some good things about Heather. Going to take a look but Gansler seems to be running strongRead More and of course Brown's Ads are good.
Bob Bobbers April 4, 2014 at 09:26 am
LT Governors usually don't far well in Maryland. That leaves us with Gansler. He strikes me as justRead More another corrupt politician who is only interested in himself.
MoCoRes April 4, 2014 at 11:45 am
Yes, Maryland arguably has good schools and jobs at the moment. But a quick trip around the BeltwayRead More will show you that Virginia and D.C. are progressing and developing. Do I think it's becasue of lax rules in those areas? Maybe but not entirely. I'm a Democrat and I gladly voted for O'Malley. But my biggest problem with progressives in Maryland and other places is they tend to be more interested in activism rather than governing. Should businesses be able to walk all over us and do whatever they want? No. But there needs to be a proper balance between attracting business and regulations. And I don't think Maryland has it right now. Regarding the next governor, I don't know Brown and Mizeur all that well. But I don't trust Gansler.

GO WEGMANS! And since the evil city of Westminster does not have a Wegmans (nor do they deserveRead More one!), it's a win win to take your hard earned dollars and spend it in a city that doesn't treat their residents as criminals! I used to feel guilty when I shopped at Wegmans. NOT ANY MORE!! Best food store on the planet!!!
Maryellen Brady April 1, 2014 at 11:00 am
Good for Wegmans, I sure hope they pay their employees well, promote from within and most of allRead More dont rely on taxpayers as does WALMART for their government corporate subsidies. Each WALMART costs taxpayers $900,000 a year. It would be good to know if WEGMANS is a real plus to the community, as is Costco.

Doesn't look good! Not good publicity for First Mariner Bank and I don't blame the investors ifRead More they take all their money now!
macgeek February 11, 2014 at 11:42 am
I dont trust any banks anymore. they all follow the same outdated rules which help them and not us.Read More they win and we lose. borrow money and they charge 19% interest or more. if I save money, they give me .001% interest. seems a little one sided don't you think?
