Let me see....There are many reasons why there is not enough sign ups, but # 1 is that the communityRead More of Aberdeen is in the dark about most of the rec programs. Last year my sons team won the County Championship game for the 13-15 age group and when it was posted on Facebook people were shocked that they had not heard. The Aeiges paper never published it and ignored every phone call and e-mail posted. Being a supposedly Baseball City you would think that this sport would be important to us...or the Ripkins...or even the Ironbirds, but sad to say the kids and the parents are just sick of being treated like a second class citizen.

Just so everyone knows. Santa on Wheels was started locally 4 years ago by the Chosen Sons MC.Read More Over the years many Clubs and groups have been involved in this event. This year besides the Chosen Sons MC the others involved were as follows , Iron Order MC, Broken Spoke Family Association, U.S. Military Vets MC, Warrior Brotherhood MC, Essex MC , Lynx MC, Amelia from 98 Rock and Chesapeake Harley for allowing us to rally there as a starting point. Coffee was donated at the starting point by Aberdeen WAWA and of coarse the Aberdeen PD for the escort thru Aberdeen.

Here we go again. We've had this discussion at least 4 times now, most recently here-Read More http://belair.patch.com/blog_posts/animal-house-follow-up-on-harford-humane-society 10 out of 11 of the list is pretty much already in place, in progress, ahead of "no-kill" schedules and more plans and improvements that aren't on the 11 point list already being discussed for future. . #1- Feral cats, the number one segment of animals being killed nationwide- the H.O.P.E. group has been challenged to put their words into action and take on changing the laws in Harford County and setting up and managing a TNR program for feral cats and serving that population but I haven't heard of any action on their part.
