Edgewood, Aberdeen Men Charged In Robbery

A 50-year-old Joppa man told police he was attacked and robbed during the early morning hours Thursday in Edgewood.

A Joppa man was assaulted and robbed Thursday morning in Edgewood, and police have charged two men with the crime. Rodney Dion Williams, 33, of the 1800 block of Simons Court in Edgewood, is charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft less than $100, according to court online records. Steven Michael Mack, 34, of the unit block of East Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen, is facing charges identical to Wiliams, court records show. The charges stem from a incident that took place in the early morning hours Thursday. Around 2:30 a.m., a 50-year-old Joppa man told Harford County Sheriff's Office deputies he was visiting a relative on Crimson Tree Way in Edgewood when two men, later identified as Williams and Mack, allegedly walked up to him, …

Police Still Investigating Route 22 Shooting

No charges have been filed in Wednesday night's shooting on Churchville Road.

Police are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in an apartment house outside Aberdeen Wednesday night. No charges have been filed as of Friday, Greg Shipley, spokesman for Maryland State Police (MSP), told Patch. Police are not revealing the identities of two men who are being investigated, due to the potential of charges, he added. An Aberdeen man who was shot remains at University of Shock Trauma Center, where he is wounded, Shipley said. MSP's initial investigation into the incident revealed that on Wednesday, a 37-year-old Aberdeen man was attempting to break into an apartment on the 3300 block of Churchville Road where he said his ex-girlfriend was inside with another man.
