The Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference released updated standings Tuesday morning. The Aberdeen boys lacrosse team remained in the hunt for the Susquehanna Division title as of Tuesday morning. Harford County Records Fall at State Swim Meet

The MPSSAA state swim meet was held in College Park.

The C. Milton Wright girls set three county records and paddled to a second-place finish in the state swim meet Saturday in College Park. C. Milton Wright took second in the MPSSAA girls meet, and fourth in the boys meet, as the top representatives from Harford County. The Mustangs girls topped last year's record in the 200 medley relay, swimming a 1:53.24, besting the 1:54.82 set last year. They won the state title by three seconds. Part of both of those relay teams was Lauren O'Mara, who also broke her own county reacord in the 100 breast stroke with a time of 1:06.70. Aberdeen Girls Win UCBAC Basketball Title

The Eagles defeated Edgewood for the Uppper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference championship Wednesday night in Bel Air. It was the team's second straight title.

The Aberdeen girls basketball team cruised past Edgewood, 62-23, to earn the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference championship Wednesday night in Bel Air. It was the second straight conference title for the Eagles, who have won the UCBAC's Chesapeake Division in both of those seasons. It's the third title overall for Aberdeen, which also won the championship in 2004. Freshman Stephanie Jones led the Eagles in Wednesday's game with 23 points, while Jimmia McCluskey added 14, according to The Aegis. Also Wednesday, Edgewood defeated Joppatowne, 59-55, for the boys conference title. The girls basketball team for Aberdeen is a top seed in the MPSSAA tournament, which begins next week. The Eagles are the defending Class 3A state champions. …

Hoops: Aberdeen Girls Play for UCBAC Title Wednesday

The Eagles will square off with Edgewood in a game at C. Milton Wright.

The Aberdeen girls basketball team is playing for the conference championship Wednesday.  The Eagles and Edgewood will square off at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the title matchup at C. Milton Wright. Edgewood (16-6 overall) won the Susquehanna Division, going 14-0 in division play. Aberdeen (19-3 overall) was unbeaten in division play, as well, going 12-0 against Chesapeake Division opponents. » See the full UCBAC standings for both boys and girls in the charts with this post. Mustangs Win Harford County Swim Championship

C. Milton Wright capped off its regular season title with a win in the championship meet.

After winning the regular season title, the C. Milton Wright swim team took home the county championship Wednesday. The Mustangs won the boys and girls titles at the championship meet—held over two days at Magnolia Middle School. Check out the attached file for all the results. Fallston finished second and Patterson Mill was third. Region meets are Feb. 14-16, and state meets are Feb. 22-23, according to the MPSSAA. C. Milton Wright Wins Harford County Swim Title

The Mustangs won the regular season crown, led by an undefeated girls team.

The C. Milton Wright swim team won the regular season championship in Harford County. The Mustangs girls (15-0) led the way for the team, which also went 15-0. The boys were 14-1. See the full standings included with this post. The county swim championship is scheduled for Feb. 5 and 6 at Magnolia Middle School. Have photos of your team in action? Congrats to CMW for the win, and to ALL the SWIMMERS who worked just as hard and did an amazing job!!! This was the WORST hosted HS event EVER! The people that ran it were on major power trips and nothing but RUDE! Sad that you cant even go to a High School event and enjoy the teams there and the people..
