The Harford County Sheriff's Office identified the victim of a Saturday night shooting in Perrywood as a 26-year-old Cecil County man. Daniel Patrick Morris, of Elkton, was in serious condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center Sunday afternoon, according to a statement from the sheriff's office. Morris, who was shot in the abdomen, was unable to provide a description of the suspect, officials said. A man with a head injury was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after an incident in Perrywood Wednesday evening. The incident took place in the 200 block of Perrywood Court and involved a head injury to a male, who was conscious when officers arrived, according to Sgt. Casimir Alkanowski of the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Alkanowski said it wasn't immediately clear whether the injury, which occurred around 7 p.m., was from a gunshot or from a physical assault. Police had not apprehended a suspect as of 7:55 p.m., Alkanowski said. Stay with Patch for updates.

A White Hall man sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
UPDATE: (9:39 p.m.)—A Maryland State Police trooper shot a White Hall man Monday afternoon after the man pointed a shotgun at him, police say. Shortly before 1:30 p.m. a woman called 911 and said her boyfriend, 52-year-old John E. Murphy, was armed and announcing he wanted to be killed by police, according to a release from state police. Police release the name of the Saturday shooting victim.
While police say the Saturday shooting of a 20-year-old Edgewood man was not random, it remained unclear Monday whether the incident was related to gang or drug activity. Before 1:30 p.m., Solothol Delilly, 20, was hit over the head then shot in the leg outside the the Save-a-Lot in the 1800 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood, according to a statement from the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Delilly was taken by Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company ambulance to Upper Cheasapeake Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. (UPDATE 10:41 a.m. Wednesday)—Police identified a third victim following a shooting in Edgewood Tuesday night, and the crime is under investigation. Around 8:15 p.m. a shooting took place in the 1900 block of Edgewater Drive in Edgewood, according to Monica Worrell, public information officer with the Harford County Sheriff's Office. A South Carolina man was shot in the Perryman area Friday night, police said.
A South Carolina man was shot in the arm during a Friday night function at the VFW post 6054 in Perryman, police said. The victim and witnesses of the crime, however, have not cooperated with investigators, Monica Worrell, public information officer with the Harford County Sheriff's Office, said Monday. Around 2:18 a.m. Saturday, sheriff's deputies were called to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air to investigate a shooting report, Worrell said. An Aberdeen man is in critical condition after suffering an apparent gunshot wound Tuesday night, Explore Harford reported. Police first responded to Holly Circle for a report of a shooting before finding Alton B. A 16-year-old boy was charged as an adult Tuesday after police say he shot and killed his father at their Bel Air home then dumped the body in the Aberdeen pond shown in these photos. The body was found in the pond in the 800 block of Gilbert Road, located approximately 100 yards behind the victim's sister's house, a neighbor said. Charges are pending against a 16-year-old teenager after police say he admitted to shooting his father to death at their Bel Air home and dumping his body in Aberdeen. Sheriff's deputies were called to the family's home in the 800 block of Moores Mill Road in Bel Air around 10:45 p.m. Monday, said Monica Worrell, spokeswoman for the Harford County Sheriff's Office. Police arrested two men Friday in connection with a Dec. 8 murder in Edgewood. The Harford County Sheriff's Office arrested Joseph Andrew Nelson, 20, of Edgewater Drive in Edgewood, and Coty Lamonte Wilson, 21, of Mountain Road in Fallston on Friday. Nelson and Wilson were charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Christopher Curtis Alves, 21, of Edgewood. Both are being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center, according to a release from the sheriff's office.
