Pet Valu gives back to its customers and the surrounding community.

There’s rarely an employee behind the counter at the Aberdeen Pet Valu.  There's a reason. "Our managers and staff are always building relationships with our customers and their pets," Pet Valu Director of Marketing Amy Depaoli said.  Depaoli continued, "It blows me away, when I go into the Aberdeen store and someone will come in with their dog or cat and our store managers or staff know the customers pet's name, what their pet's allergies are, or what toys they play with." The staff understands the importance of pets to their customers and are constantly recommending what products are best for the animal. Flowers By Lucy: Delivering Like Santa Claus

You don't have to leave Aberdeen to find flowers this holiday season.

After 23 years of business, Flowers By Lucy has the process down. Leading up to Christmas, the store is like Aberdeen's answer to Santa's workshop—busy and answering requests up to the very last minute. “We take orders all the way up to Christmas Eve and deliver Christmas Eve so we tend to get pretty busy that day,” Flowers By Lucy floral designer Tracey Smith said. Smith said Christmas is the third-busiest holiday for the store, located on West Bel Air Avenue. Mother's Day and Valentine's Day lead the way.
