Hometown: Havre de Grace
Birthday: June 10, 1983
I was born at GBMC in Baltimore and grew up in Havre de Grace. I played three sports at Havre de Grace High School and spent my first two years of college at Harford Community College, where I played baseball. I graduated from Towson University with a degree in mass communications in 2005.
I spent my first seven months in journalism at The Aegis in Bel Air, covering local sports. I joined the launch staff of The Baltimore Examiner in 2006, and covered virtually everything in the Baltimore sports world over the next three years. Prior to joining Patch this summer, I worked as a freelance reporter and broadcaster, and as the varsity baseball coach at Havre de Grace High School.
I currently reside in Harford County with my wife, Liz, a fellow Havre de Grace High alum and a 2005 graduate of Goucher College, our 4-year-old daughter, Chloe, our 2-year-old son, Ian, and dogs, Sadie & Bailey.
I was the original editor of Havre de Grace Patch (launched Oct. 18, 2010). I was also the editor for Aberdeen Patch from August-October 2011, and February to August 2012.
I am currently an Associate Regional Editor for Patch, managing sites in Harford and Baltimore Counties, as well as Baltimore City.
