The team of 11- and 12-year-olds won the game 11-1 over a team from Raleigh, NC.

A team from Japan won the 14th annual Cal Ripken World Series in Aberdeen on Sunday, topping a team from Raleigh, NC by a score of 11-1 in five innings.

It was the third straight title for Japan in the series, which features the top 11- and 12-year-old Babe Ruth players from around the world.

Ryugo Komachi hit a homerun for Japan, while Mizuki Kataoka hit a two-run double, Ripken Baseball representatives reported.

The Cal Ripken World Series is played oat the Ripken Experience Complex in Aberdeen, on a field made to look like smaller version of Camden Yards in Baltimore.
