Aberdeen Aldi To Open Friday
Aldi will open its new store on July 12 on U.S. Route 40 in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen residents and visitors will soon have a new option for shopping.
Aldi is planning to open its second store in Harford County on Friday. The new location is directly across from Walmart on U.S. Route 40 in Aberdeen. It will be joined in coming weeks by a new Royal Farms.
“We are pleased to bring our first store to Aberdeen to help the local community, including US military personnel and their families, get high-quality products at everyday low prices,” Jeff Baehr, Aldi's Frederick division vice president, said in a release.
The store will host a ribbon-cutting and preview event at 11 a.m. on Thursday—allowing community members to tour, enjoy samples and enter to win one of five Aldi gift certificates, according to the release.
The Aberdeen store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
