Aberdeen Townhouse Fire Controlled Quickly

Firefighters responded to Bristle Cone Circle near MD Route 7.

Volunteer fire crews needed just 15 minutes to extinguish a townhouse fire outside of Aberdeen Thursday morning.

The blaze took place in the 5000 block of Bristle Cone Circle in around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office, Gardiner said.

Crews from Abingdon, Aberdeen, Bel Air and Aberdeen Proving Ground responded to the fire, Gardiner said.
