IT Provider Awarded Contract for APG

Link Solutions Inc. was awarded a five-year, $50 million contract.

APG has a new IT service.

Link Solutions Inc. will provide information technology support to a series of organizations on after landing a five-year, $50 million contract with the Army.

Ling Solutions (LSi) was awarded the contract to work with Army Materiel Command (AMC), Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), U.S. Public Health Command (USAPHC) and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), according to a statement on its website.

"We have proven that we understand how to perform in MEDCOM's mission-critical environment, understand the needs of our customers and understand how to quickly respond to get the desired results in the most cost-effective manne. Our proven Army experience and past success cements LSi's position as a high-value, low-risk provider of IT services for our clients," LSi President and CEO Bhupesh Wadhawan said in a statement.

The organization is based in Reston, VA, and has provided the government with support since 2006, according to a news release on its website.
